A delicious Parmesan Chicken Alfredo dish featuring tender chicken breasts and creamy sauce served over fettuccine. The chicken is breaded and baked to golden perfection, complemented by a rich sauce made with cream, garlic, butter, and lemon juice.
Preheat oven to 400F and move the rack to the middle position.
Butterfly the chicken and cut it in half lengthwise to have 4 thinner pieces. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with half the parmesan cheese.
Dip the chicken in the flour, followed by the egg, and then the breadcrumbs.
Boil salted water and cook the fettuccine according to package directions.
Heat olive oil in an oven-proof skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 4 minutes on each side until golden.
Remove chicken from the pan and set aside on a plate.
Add cream, butter, lemon juice, garlic, and remaining parmesan cheese to the pan and stir.
Add the chicken back into the pan and place it in the oven for 10 minutes or until fully cooked and sauce thickens.
Slice the chicken if desired. Toss the pasta with the sauce and top each bowl with chicken. Serve immediately.
