Browned Butter Honey Garlic Shrimp
10 mins prepServes 4
A delicious shrimp dish made with browned butter, honey, garlic, and lemon juice, seared to perfection and garnished with parsley. Serve it with steamed vegetables, over rice, or alongside a salad.
1: Heat butter in a non-stick pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
2: Melt, swirling the pan and stirring occasionally for about 3 minutes, or until the butter begins to change to golden brown and has a nutty fragrance.
3: Add honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, and garlic; stir well to combine and cook for 30 seconds until the garlic is fragrant.
4: Remove from heat and pour out just over half of the browned butter from the pan, reserving 2 tablespoons.
5: Add half of the shrimp to the pan; sear for about 2 minutes each side until cooked through.
6: Transfer the cooked shrimp to a plate; set aside.
7: Wipe the pan and add 2 more tablespoons of honey/butter mixture.
8: Sear the remaining shrimp for 2 minutes each side until cooked through.
9: Add the cooked shrimp back into the pan, pour in the remaining honey/butter sauce, and stir to coat.
10: Season with salt if desired and garnish with parsley. Serve with vegetables, over rice, or with a salad.
